Dr. Deborah Pollack is an experienced clinician who has worked at OGMHA since 1986. In treating her adult patients, she uses a variety of therapies to provide specialized care for each individual's unique issues. Areas of interest include mood and anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorder, PTSD, stress management, relationship and parenting challenges, and distress accompanying medical illnesses. Approaches to treatment are always targeted to individual needs. Medications, traditional talk therapies, cognitive behavioral and Mindfulness techniques, somatic imagery, and EMDR are some of the tools used to help ease distress. Dr. Pollack also works with other therapists and medical specialists in providing consultation and medication management for their patients.
Dr. Pollack graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and received her psychiatric residency training at the Georgetown University Hospital.
