Tolulope Omojokun, M.D.

Dr. Omojokun is a psychiatrist who is double board-certified in both child & adolescent and general adult psychiatry. She treats children, adolescents, and adults through medication management and psychotherapy. Her treatment specialties include depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, and ADHD, as well as difficulties with life transitions, family and peer relationships, and self-esteem. Treatment plans are created on a case-by-case basis, tailored to your individual needs. Her medication management approach uses evidence-based practices based on specific diagnoses and symptoms. She uses psychotherapy techniques drawn from psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, attachment-based therapy, and other modalities.
Dr. Omojokun completed her undergraduate studies in biology and chemistry at Virginia Commonwealth University. She earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed both her general psychiatry residency and her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and the Maryland Psychiatric Society. She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Maryland.

Scheduling

Insurance
Dr. Omojokun does not directly participate with any insurance companies or Medicare. However, many insurance policies have an out-of-network benefit which typically reimburses you for a portion of your payment. Our practice manager, La Shawn Farrish, can provide guidance with this process.
