Cancellation Policy
A minimum of 48 business hours notice is required if you need to cancel a scheduled appointment. I do understand that very legitimate issues come up, sometimes within hours of a scheduled appointment. Examples of these could be your illness, your child’s illness, an urgent work meeting, an airplane flight delay, traffic jam or car trouble, a babysitter who doesn’t show up, etc. These are all unexpected emergencies and I recognize that you have no control over these. However, our policy is to charge for appointments not cancelled within 48 hours, unless I am able to fill your appointment time (which is more likely the sooner you let me know).
I will do my best to reschedule if time is available. In an emergency, I am always available to talk with you on the telephone (that is, have a phone session) during your scheduled time in lieu of you coming into the office. For last minute changes, please call (301) 897-0099 ext. 300 or ext. 301 and inform the office manager that you cannot be here for your appointment. Leave your telephone number and I will call you to have a session over the phone at your scheduled time.
