Meet Dr. Levine
Daniel J. Levine, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and a founding member of Old Georgetown Mental Health Associates in Rockville, MD. He maintains a general adult psychiatric practice, drawing on more than four decades of experience in the field.
Dr. Levine graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 1980. He completed his psychiatric residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1984, followed by a fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Georgetown in 1985.
In his practice, Dr. Levine combines psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy, tailoring treatment to the individual patient. He maintains close, collaborative relationships with a number of therapists, providing pharmacologic consultation and treatment for their patients — an approach that reflects his commitment to coordinated, team-based mental health care.
Dr. Levine offers both in-person and virtual appointments for adult patients.
